Custom sprays using Wally
A spray to be used in counter-strike must be a .wad file however images are generally .jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp etc. It follows that in order to convert a general image type into a spray, you need to convert it into a .wad file. To do this you use Wally which is a decal converter (Download). Once you have Wally installed, follow these steps:
1) Open up Wally. Click Wizard from the toolbar then HL Color Decal.
2) You have to now complete the information it asks for. First enter the path to the directory where the spray will be saved. For Steam it should be similar to: C:\\program files\\steam\\steamapps\\you@email.com\\counter-strike\\cstrike, or click the ... button to find it.
3) Now you want to find the image you are going to use as your spray. Click the ... button to browse for it. The image must have dimensions divisible by 16 so make sure that is the case for your image. To make parts of your image transparent, fill them in with pure blue (RGB : 0,0,255).

4) Click OK and the decal should appear when the Wizard closes.
5) Check all is good then click File in the toolbar then Save. The .wad should be saved to your cstrike directory in Steam as pldecal.wad. Your previous spray will be overwritten. It is best to make the file read-only so that if you go into the options in the game your spray is not overwritten by a default spray. How to install your spray.
